Guidelines

  • Scheduling/Changing Appointments
To schedule or change appointments, please contact us via email on dramatically.yours.dramatherapy@gmail.com or via WhatsApp on +91 63795 49975. We will respond to your email or WhatsApp message within 24 hours, except on weekends or holidays.
  • First Session
Following the 30 minute Consultation Call, should we decide to work together, we will book in your initial session at a mutually agreed upon time and date. You will receive intake forms to complete prior to the session, that are part of the ethical and responsible practice we are trying to build. During the session, we will further discuss your concerns and needs and identify a plan, that we will revisit at regular intervals, to understand how better to help you get the best out of the therapeutic process. We will also address any questions you may have regarding the therapeutic process. Ultimately, the therapy space is for you to explore and therefore, the therapist will support you through this process right from the first session by offering a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space.
  • Frequency of Sessions
The frequency of sessions varies based on the nature of the concerns and individual requirements. We will work together to identify a schedule that will ensure you get the most out of the therapeutic journey.
  • Length of Sessions
Each individual session lasts 50 minutes. However, in case of an online session, we offer a buffer time of 10 minutes as we understand that internet connectivity and power issues might sometime occur.
  • Number of Sessions
The total number of sessions required for each individual varies, yet again, based on the nature of the concerns and individual requirement since therapy is a gradual and on-going process.
  • Terminating Sessions
Therapy is a gradual and on-going process that is built upon a strong therapeutic relationship. We, at Dramatically Yours Dramatherapy, understand that the journey must come to an end at some point. Therapy sessions can be terminated or discontinued by either the client or the therapist - Client: As a client, you have the right to request termination of therapy at any time for any reason. We request that you discuss this with us, so we can mutually determine an appropriate ending date and bring about a proper closure of the therapeutic relationship. Therapist: As a therapist, if the issue being brought to therapy falls outside of my expertise or if I believe that the client may benefit from another therapist that is better experienced in handling the issue, I will provide a suitable referral.
